Nuh Violence: FIR lodged against those who gave provocative speech in Palwal Mahapanchayat

Haryana In Palwal, on August 13, the police have registered an FIR against unknown people for making inflammatory speeches at the ‘Sarva Hindu Samaj Mahapanchayat’. The FIR was registered on the basis of a complaint by Probationary Sub Inspector (PSI) Sachin, who alleged that some people had made inflammatory speeches against people of other community during the meeting in Pondari village, officials said.

An FIR was registered at Hathin police station on Monday under sections 153-A (promoting enmity between different groups) and 505 (objectionable statement in public), among other sections, of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), police said. Station in-charge Manoj Kumar said, an FIR has been registered and action will be taken as per the law.

Braj Mandal Yatra decided on August 28

A ‘mahapanchayat’ of Hindu organizations has decided to resume the Vishva Hindu Parishad’s (VHP) Braj Mandal Yatra in Nuh on August 28, which was stopped after communal violence in July. A Nuh court in Haryana on Wednesday sent Bittu Bajrangi to one-day police custody in connection with the communal violence that broke out in the district. VHP said- Bittu Bajrangi has no relation with Bajrang Dal

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) denied having any connection with Bajrangi and claimed that he was never associated with the Bajrang Dal. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Haryana unit president Omprakash Dhankhar on Wednesday said that the recent attack on the religious visit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Nuh was not possible without a prior conspiracy. His remarks came a few days after Chief Minister Manohar Lal’s statement in which he said that the attack on the Braj Mandal Yatra in Nuh on July 31 seems to be part of a bigger conspiracy.
