Haryana Police arrested a person allegedly involved in the communal violence in K Nuh after a brief encounter in Tawdu area of the district, officials said. Officials said that the accused has been identified as Amir, a resident of Didhara village.
The accused was shot in an encounter with the police
Police said that a search operation was launched after receiving information that the accused and his associates were hiding in the Aravalli hills near Tavadu. He told that the accused fired at the police, after which he was shot in the leg in retaliatory action by the police. The accused has been arrested after being caught. He has been admitted to Nalhar Medical College for treatment. Police said that the search is on to nab other accused of communal violence hiding in the hills. He told that a country-made pistol and five cartridges have also been recovered from Amir.
