Now there will be no jam at Rambagh intersection of Agra, traffic police made this action plan

Agra : Efforts are being started to ensure that there is no jam at Rambagh intersection, which is the busiest in the city. DCP Traffic and ACP Chhatta arrived with the police force. During this, he reviewed the parking of vehicles parked at the intersection. Also instructed the subordinates that all commercial vehicles will be parked at designated places as per the standards. Also, a plan is being prepared by the traffic police to relieve the people from the jam situation at the intersection. Under this plan, many such changes will be made which can change the appearance of the intersection. Thousands of vehicles travel daily at Rambagh intersection of Agra. Along with this, parking arrangements have been implemented at the intersection on the routes leading to Firozabad, Hathras, Ghat and Bhagwan Talkies. The parking at these places is taken care of by the Municipal Corporation and autos and magic are parked here. In such a situation, there is a crowd of thousands of people at the intersection every day from morning till evening. And due to haphazard parking of vehicles, traffic jams also arise.

The campaigns so far have failed

Several campaigns were conducted by the regional police and traffic police at Rambagh intersection to improve the traffic jam situation. The encroachers around the intersection were given a strict warning and the encroachments made by them were removed. Those pushing carts on the road were also removed. But shortly after the action, the old situation arises again at the intersection. Last Saturday, 6 people died in an accident at Gurudwara Guru ki Tal in Agra. After that, the traffic department launched a campaign against illegal parking and illegal movement of vehicles against excessive sleep and encroachment on all the major intersections and roads of Agra. Under this, on Wednesday, the police force of Agra police station along with DCP Traffic Arun Chandra, ACP Chhatta RK Singh reached Rambagh intersection to inspect.

Commercial vehicles will park under the flyover

DCP Traffic Arun Chandra said that Rambagh intersection is the gateway to the metropolis. Here people enter there from Firozabad, Hathras, Aligarh and Etah. In such a situation, with the increase in the number of vehicles, the traffic load is also increasing. To improve the traffic jam at Rambagh intersection, first of all the temporary encroachment is being removed. The space up to 50 meters from intersections has been made a no activity zone. Vehicles are being parked 100 meters before the intersection and have been directed to the parking contractor. That all commercial vehicles should be parked under the flyover located at Rambagh only. Vending zones are being created under the flyover itself. Where the pusher will also be parked. So that the pushcart does not stand on the road and it does not create a traffic jam. DCP Traffic told that once the encroachment on Rambagh is removed, instructions have been given to the outpost in-charge. It is their responsibility to ensure that temporary encroachment does not happen again.
