Bihar Tourism: Now you do not need to go to Maldives, Lakshadweep, Goa, Andaman Nicobar after spending thousands of rupees. The tourist facilities available on the beach there will now be available only in West Champaran district of Bihar. If you are fond of water adventure then you will have to come to Amwa Man Lake in West Champaran. Amwa Mana, developed as Bihar’s first water adventure sports, has now been completely opened for tourists. Here water sports like motor boat, jet attack, boat jetski, parasailing, kayak juggling ball can be enjoyed.
Bihar’s only adventurous water sports destination
You can enjoy many types of water activities in Amwa Man Lake and Water Sports Park, located on the banks of NH 727, 30 km from Motihari city and 22 km from Bettiah. Amwa Man of Bettiah, built on the lines of Lakshadweep and Goa, is the only adventurous water sports destination in Bihar. Here you can go para sailing in the air or enter a big plastic ball on the surface of the water and descend into the river amidst the waves. You will get all kinds of facilities here.
The lake is spread over 175 acres
This is the first water adventure sports in Bihar where it is equipped with facilities for all water adventure sports like parasailing along with kayak, jet ski, motor boat, sofa ride, zorbing ball, paddle boat, jet attack. Amva Man Lake, famous as Gateway of West Champaran, is preparing to become a hub in the field of tourism. This lake, about three kilometers long and 800 meters wide, spread over 175 acres, has been developed on the lines of the famous coastal tourist destinations of the country.
There are arrangements for canteen, parking and changing room.
Here, the tourists have been equipped with various facilities like food, drinks, parking, changing room, canteen, boats etc. There are 16 different boat rides and equipment available here. This lake has been developed for water adventure sports at a cost of about Rs 15 crore. Equipped with facilities like paddle boat, food court, jarbigball for small children, this lake is waiting for the tourists.
how much will be charged
There is no need to pay any money to participate in Amvaman’s water sports activities. But if you want to enjoy any sports activity of your choice, then the fare for this has been fixed by the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation. After paying the amount, you can do many types of riding and gliding as per your wish. Here you will have to pay Rs 800 for parasailing, Rs 100 for boat and Rs 400 for jetski.
What facilities and timing will be available
In Amvaman, you will get the facilities of adventure sports like high speed boat, paddle boat, parasailing, floating jetty, jets scooter, tree house, floating promenade, jetski, jet attack, sofa ride, zorwing ball and kayaks. Time has also been fixed for water sports activities here. Here you can enjoy water sports from 9 am to 5 pm. One hour time has also been kept for lunch break from one to two o’clock. It remains closed to the general public on Tuesdays for weekly maintenance.

To reach Amvaman, you will first have to reach Bettiah or Motihari. You can reach here from any city of Bihar by train, bus or your personal vehicle. After this you can reach here via Bettiah and Motihari main road i.e. NH 727. For this you will get many vehicles from the bus stand and railway station. This water adventure sports park is located on NH 727, 30 km from Motihari and 22 km from Bettiah. After reaching here you can enjoy this sports activity for many hours.
