Big weapon against air pollution in Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal
After approving the Delhi Motor Vehicle Aggregator and Delivery Service Provider Scheme 2023, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that this scheme will prove to be a big weapon for Delhi against air pollution. Commercial fleets of aggregators, delivery service providers and e-commerce organizations will have to be converted to electric vehicles step by step, and in a timely manner. Delhi is now the first state in India to make it mandatory. With this, it has become one of the few cities in the world where such a scheme is effective. CM further said that this scheme also paves the way for starting electric bike taxi service in Delhi.
