This Ramlila will be organized till 28th October, for which Ganpati and Mukut puja was done at Lala Chhannumal Baradari. Along with this, the recitation of Shri Ramcharitmanas also started in Mankameshwar temple which will continue for about a month.
This year Ramleela will be staged in Agra by the troupe of Neeraj Chaturvedi, director of Ramakrishna Leela Sansthan, Mathura. Every year on the day of Anant Chaturdashi, Ramlila starts with the worship of Ganesh in Lala Channumal’s Baradari. Mahant of Ramlila, Pandit Ved Prakash Prithvi performed the crown puja with committee president Purushottam Khandelwal and general secretary Rajeev Aggarwal.
Pandit Manoj Bhardwaj will continuously recite Ramcharitmanas till Ramlila Mahotsav. In the crown worship, the forms of Maryada Purushottam Ram, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughan, Maa Janaki and Ram devotee Hanuman were also worshipped. Also, his aarti was performed by the chief guest, Union Minister SP Singh Baghel.
This time also the artists of Mathura will show their acting in North India’s biggest and historical Ramlila of Agra. Artists of Shri Guru Ramkripa Ramlila Sansthan from Mathura came to Agra to stage Ramlila which is going to start from 2nd October. B.Com student Pradyuman Chaturvedi will become the embodiment of Lord Shri Ram. Whereas, advocate Anup Chaturvedi will become Ravana. Transport businessman Neeraj Chaturvedi will play the role of Raja Janak.
A 40-member group came to Agra on Thursday evening and participated in the Mukut Puja here. President of Shri Guru Ramkripa Ramlila Sansthan, Neeraj Chaturvedi said that the form of Lord Shri Ram will be assumed by Pradyumna Chaturvedi, resident of Ratnakund, Chaubiya Pada, Mathura. He is studying B.Com from KR Degree College, Mathura. His father Ranu Chaturvedi also performs Ramlila. Dada Banwari Lal Chaturvedi was a great comedian of Mathura. Honey Chaturvedi, resident of Chaubia Pada, Mathura, will play the role of Laxman.
