Apart from this, people use snake venom for intoxication. It is also used in cosmetic items and expensive perfumes. Cobra is a Schedule-A category creature. Cobra is a Schedule-A category animal and removing the venom gland comes in the category of cruelty. If convicted in this crime, the culprit can be sentenced to up to seven years in prison.
