Noida: Elevator fell from 24th floor in Paras Tiara Society, elderly woman died, people created ruckus

In the Paras Tierra Society located in Sector-137, Greater Noida, the lift came to a stop two to three floors below the 24th floor due to breakage. During this, the elderly woman present in the lift had a panic attack and fainted. After getting the information, the woman was taken out by opening the lift in a hurry. After which the woman was brought to the nearby Felix Hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead.

In fact, Sushila Devi (70), who was stuck in the lift for 50 minutes on Thursday evening, died after falling from the 24th floor. It is being told that the old woman was stuck in the lift for a long time and she fainted when she could not be pulled out. Meanwhile, the lift fell down. Residents’ anger erupted after the incident. The residents surrounded AOA president Ramesh Gautam and demanded his resignation on the spot. It is alleged that the police lathi-charged, but the police say that people were removed after being persuaded. Police is investigating the matter by registering a case on the complaint of the son of the deceased.

Residents told that Sushil lived on the 24th floor of the society with her son and daughter-in-law. She went in the lift to come down alone in the evening. The lift got stuck on the 23rd floor. They made noise but no one heard the sound. After some time she fainted. After about 50 minutes the wire of the lift broke. Due to this the lift fell down from the 23rd floor. After this Sushila was taken to a private hospital. Here he was declared dead. The police got information about the accident at around 7.15 am. After this, the residents gathered in the society and started creating ruckus.

The residents allege that during this time the police resorted to lathi-charge, although the police have termed the allegation of lathi-charge as baseless.
