No Chief Minister, ‘All is well’ is not in Jharkhand, BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev’s attack on Hemant Soren

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Pratul Shahdev has attacked Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He has said that it has never happened in the history of independent India that the Chief Minister of a state, defying all his security, remained missing for 40 hours. What happened in Jharkhand for two days is like an international best selling fiction novel. This cannot be imagined. The Chief Minister left 3.5 crore people of Jharkhand to fend for themselves for 40 hours. After 40 hours the Chief Minister came forward and said that all is well.

You will have to answer where you were for 40 hours: Pratul Shahdev

Pratul said, no Chief Minister, everything is not well. You are the head of the state. Is the head of the government. It is your responsibility to follow the oath you have taken. You went missing without any information. Where were you for 40 hours? The big question is how can you render the people of the state helpless like this? Pratul Shahdev said that our Chief Minister did not behave like a CM. He was behaving like a fugitive. this is very sad.

Politics boils over suspense over Hemant Soren

This statement of Jharkhand BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev has come after the suspense created on Hemant Soren. Actually, Hemant Soren left for Delhi on Saturday. On Monday, the ED team went to his official residence in Delhi to interrogate him. Hemant Soren was not found at his official residence. The team also raided Jharkhand Bhavan and the residence of his father Shibu Soren. Hemant Soren was not found there either.

News agency quoting ED reported – Hemant Soren missing

Many news agencies quoted ED as saying that two cars and Rs 36 lakh have been recovered from Hemant Soren’s Delhi residence. On Tuesday, Hemant Soren held a meeting with MLAs at the Chief Minister’s residence. His wife Kalpana Soren was also present in the meeting. There was discussion that if Hemant Soren was arrested by ED, he would hand over the command to Kalpana. But, these speculations came to an end in the evening.

ED interrogating Hemant Soren in money laundering case

Ruling party MLAs expressed faith in Hemant Soren. Expressed his support towards him. Also said that we all stand strongly with you. You were, are and will remain our Chief Minister. Let it be known that ED wanted to interrogate Hemant Soren in the money laundering case related to the alleged land scam case in Ranchi. After much reluctance, for the first time on January 20, Hemant Soren called ED for questioning at the CM residence.

ED team raids CM’s Delhi residence

The interrogation lasted for about seven and a half hours on the first day. Later the ED again asked him to tell the place and time for interrogation. Time was given from 27th to 31st January. Hemant Soren refused to give time citing busy schedule. JMM said that CM does not have time till March. After this the CM left for Delhi. Meanwhile, the ED team raided his official residence in Delhi.

There was no information about CM till noon on 30th January.

After the ED team reached Hemant Soren’s residence in Delhi, the politics of Jharkhand suddenly came to a boil. BJP leaders made it an issue by calling CM Hemant Soren ‘missing’. Finally, the ED was told through an e-mail from the CMO that on January 31, they can come to the CM residence at 1 pm and interrogate Hemant Soren. There was no trace of the CM from Monday to Tuesday till 2 pm. Pratul Shahdev has attacked him on this issue.
