Lucknow (Language): Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale said on Monday that Nitish Kumar’s decision is the right step taken at the right time for the progress of Bihar. Ramdas Athawale, President of the Republican Party of India (A), a constituent of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the central government, was in Lucknow. He said in the conversation that Nitish Kumar’s decision is the right step taken at the right time and it is going to give a big blow to the ‘India Alliance’.
On opposition parties naming Nitish Kumar as Palturam, Athawale said that it is not appropriate to call him Palturam. There are many people who turn back. This is not a case of ‘overturning’. Sometimes you have to take the right decision at the right time. Athawale said that Nitish’s decision is right and it is a challenge for Congress. Nitish Kumar has now come to NDA to work under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, he is welcome. Regarding opposition calling Nitish an opportunist, he said that Nitish is not an opportunist but Congress is.
