Nitish Kumar will give a gift of Rs 14 thousand crore to Bihar on Wednesday, will launch these schemes

Patna. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will gift schemes worth about Rs 14 thousand crore in the energy sector on Wednesday. With this amount, Mukhyamantri Krishi Vidyut Sambandh Yojana Phase 2 will be started with the installation of about 1.12 crore smart prepaid meters in the remaining rural areas. In this phase, infrastructure for agricultural electricity connection will be developed at a cost of about Rs 4000 crore. The Chief Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many grid and power sub stations. In this program to be held from 11 am in the Energy Auditorium of the capital, MPs, MLAs and Legislative Councilors of the concerned area will be connected through video conferencing.

South Bihar: Work will start on installation of 35.1 lakh smart meters

According to official information, various schemes will be inaugurated, foundation stone laid, inaugurated and inaugurated in South Bihar Power Distribution area at a cost of Rs 4059.81 crore. In this, work will start on installing 35.1 lakh smart prepaid meters in the remaining rural areas at a cost of Rs 4013 crore. Also, the foundation stone of construction of power sub station at Pali, Kauakol at a cost of Rs 12.53 crore, while at Jaganpura of Phulwarisharif (Patna), Agamkuan (Patna), Koshiyawan of Ekangarsarai (Nalanda), Dahiyar of Sasaram (Rohtas) at a cost of Rs 33.96 crore. And five newly constructed power sub stations will be inaugurated and inaugurated at Telmar in Harnaut (Nalanda).

North Bihar: 76.90 lakh smart meters will be installed in the remaining rural areas.

Divisional control rooms will be built in Raghopur of Supaul and Mirganj of Gopalganj. At the same time, PSS will be constructed in Basaitha and Parsahi of Madhubani, Sitab Diara of Saran, Lakhanpur of Begusarai and Grid Campus of Vaishali. The Chief Minister will inaugurate newly constructed power sub stations at Ganpatganj of Raghopur (Supaul), Vrindavan Koyla Belwa of East Champaran, Gaura (Madhaura) of Saran, Saraiya (Dariapur) and Rasulpur (Amnaur).

Transmission lines changed under modernization will also be inaugurated

Apart from this, the Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone and inaugurate schemes worth Rs 1296 crore of the transmission company. In these, inauguration of schemes at a cost of Rs 949.67 crore is proposed while foundation stone laying program of schemes at a cost of Rs 346.37 crore is proposed. This includes the inauguration of reconductoring schemes of transmission lines at a cost of about Rs 500 crore. Also, Raxaul New Grid Sub Station and transmission line from Grid to Gopalganj, transmission line from Muzaffarpur Grid to Amanour Grid and Amanour Grid to Vaishali Grid, ABT meters installed in various grid sub stations and new ones laid to connect nearby grid sub stations. Lines will also be inaugurated.
