Nishant started a startup with the aim of providing work to the villagers.

Vipin Kumar Mishra, Begusarai. In the changing environment, youth are not searching for employment on a large scale, but are getting inspired towards self-employment and are providing employment to people themselves. After the Corona period, more than two hundred small self-employment were started in Begusarai, but now a youth here has started such a startup which is new for Bihar.

Startup is providing employment to 20 people

Nishant Ranjan, a resident of Pipra Dewas in Barauni block of Begusarai district, has set up a factory to make chips from banana. The factory is also completely automatic and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. After this, Nishant has not only become the first startup of Begusarai, but he has also provided employment to 20 people in the initial phase.

Took stock of many startups in the country

Nishant was studying B.Sc in Gwalior when small and big jobs were started on a large scale in Begusarai after being inspired by the government to start an industry. When his attention turned towards self-employment, he talked to his engineer friend working in Bangalore. Took stock of various industrial establishments in Bengaluru. Went to Gujarat and saw many startups. During this time, I looked at banana chips after which I talked to my father. He also took his father around and then decided to set up a factory in the village itself.

Startup started with Rs 26 lakh

Banana Buffer brought electric pan, dryer, masala mixing and automatic packing machine from Lucknow. He started his self-employment with the name of Abhay Agro Chips Private Limited with a cost of about Rs 26 lakh. 40 to 50 thousand packets of chips are being made every month. Chips with validity of three months are being made with spices. In this they are saving about 10 to 15 percent.

The intention is to provide employment to the village people in the village.

Nishant Ranjan said that today people are looking for employment after education but it is not possible for the government to provide employment to all the people. If we want, we can start our own employment and provide employment to people in the village itself. For this purpose, we went to different parts of the country including Bengaluru and Gujarat and collected information. In that, I found banana chips to be a good startup for Bihar because currently banana chips are not made anywhere in Bihar.

Supplies come from other states only. After starting up with a cost of around Rs 26 lakh, they are now contacting various departments. Our aim is to provide employment to three to four hundred people in our village itself. So that he can earn money while staying at home.
