Odisha Weather Forecast|Odisha Rain|The weather has started taking a turn in various parts of Odisha. In most parts of the state, the night temperature has dropped by three to four degrees Celsius. According to the Zonal Meteorological Office located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha At least six places have recorded night temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature recorded at Udayagiri in Kandhamal district was 11.4 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was recorded at 11.7 degrees Celsius in Koraput, 12 in Semiliguda, 13.5 in Daringbadi, 14.5 in Korei and 15 degrees Celsius in Phulbani. Local officials have advised people to take precautions against cold. It has been urged to wear warm clothes and stay indoors as much as possible. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in different parts of Odisha for three days after the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda.
Chance of rain from 16 to 18
Due to cold dry winds coming from the north-west direction, the mercury has dropped by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius below normal. According to the Meteorological Center, the temperature is expected to drop further in the next four days. The weather will remain dry till 16 November. There is a possibility of rain in the state from 16 to 18 November. Due to this, a drop in temperature was recorded at some places. However, temperatures in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar were recorded below 20 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the cold may increase further after the 14th. There is a possibility of rain in Gajapati, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Puri, Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Baleshwar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur and Keonjhar districts from 16 to 18 November.
