The NIA on Tuesday raided the residence and relatives of infamous Naxalite leader Pramod Kumar Mishra, a member of Naxalite organization CPI Maoist in Aurangabad and Naxalite Anil Yadav’s house in Asurain village of Bankebazar. In Aurangabad, the NIA team reached Pramod Mishra’s residence in Kasma, investigated and questioned the family members. The NIA team investigated Pramod Mishra’s house for about two hours and his relatives living in Rafiganj for about four hours.
Pramod Mishra, the big name of the Maoist organization
Significantly, Pramod Mishra is a big name for the Maoist organization. He remained in jail for years. Suddenly disappeared after being released from jail. Pramod Mishra has been made accused in dozens of cases related to police-naxal encounter and recovery of naxal materials in Madanpur and Dev areas of Aurangabad.
Raids in Bokaro as well
Here, the Ranchi NIA team raided several places in Bokaro Thermal and Mahuatand police station areas. The team first simultaneously raided the residence of Sanjay Turi, a resident of Iyer, and the residence of Anil Hansda, a resident of Aiyar, along with the residence of Bacha Singh and Nageshwar Mahato, Central General Secretary of the Labor Organization Committee, located in Bokaro Thermal Nishan Haat.
The raid lasted for two hours in Gaya.
At the same time, the NIA team raided Naxalite Anil Yadav’s house in Asurain village of Bankebazar in Gaya district for two hours. Lutua’s SHO Sarv Narayan said that the NIA team had reached Anil Yadav’s house for raids in connection with the Arms Act.
Raid in Chautham of Khagaria as well
On Tuesday, the NIA team raided Jitendra Singh’s house in Nawada village of Chautham police station area of Khagaria. Local people told that the NIA team had reached in search of Jitendra Singh’s son Vibhash Kumar alias Vivek. According to the information, Vivek Kumar alias Vibhash is doing PhD while living in Bhagalpur. The NIA team searched the entire house. Here, Sadar Deputy Superintendent of Police Sumit Kumar told that he is not aware of the raid by the NIA team.
