NIA Raid at Punjab: The team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided the houses of gangster Priyavrat Fauji and Ankit of Sersa at 5 am in village Garhi Sisana of Sonipat. The main objective of this raid was to crack down on gangsters and their henchmen. This step was taken to break the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who were the main accused in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. Also, information is coming out that this raid has been conducted at about 32 places under which the houses of the accused in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case have been searched.
NIA raids to break terror-crime syndicate
The NIA had arrested both of them in the murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala which took place on 29 May 2022 in Punjab. NIA was conducting raids to break the organized terror-crime syndicate of Lawrence Bishnoi. After this statement, the NIA team from Delhi Headquarters reached Sonipat on Thursday, which included many members and women personnel led by DSP Saurav Bhardwaj. The team searched Priyavrat Fauji’s house and also interrogated his mother. Priyavrat is lodged in military jail, and his brother has died in a police encounter. The team also interrogated Ankit Sersa’s father in village Sersa and collected information by taking him to Kundli police station.
NIA team reached Kuldeep’s house
The NIA team that reached the house of Kuldeep alias Kashish, resident of Beri, also did the same thing which was done in Sonipat and Sersa. The team reached Beri police station and conducted a search operation at Kuldeep’s house, and interrogated his family members. During this time his mother, brother, and sister-in-law were present in the house. The team conducted a search operation for about an hour and collected information from the family members. After this the team returned. The team that reached Pawan Bishroi’s house also searched him under the aegis of NIA. The team interrogated the family for about one and a half hour and also examined the mobile phone of his brother Sonu. After this investigation and questioning, the team went back.
