NIA is looking for foreign link of modern weapon found from Naxalites in Bihar, some important clues found

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has found some important clues in the investigation of digital gazettes and documents found in raids conducted in East Champaran, Sheohar, Saran, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur districts on August 18. On the basis of which NIA is busy in finding the link of foreign contact of Naxalites. In fact, on May 4, Naxalite commander Rambabu Ram alias Rajan alias Prahar alias Dheeraj was arrested from Saran and on his instance, two foreign AK-47 rifles and 400 bullets were found buried in the ground from Valmikinagar forest. Which is foreign made. Due to this, the apprehension of the investigating agency has become stronger that these Naxalites have a foreign link somewhere. NIA sources say that even in the found document, something out of place has been mentioned in the code language.

The NIA is probing more than two dozen bank accounts to find clues of foreign funding. Sources in the agency say that some information has also been found in the interrogation of the Naxalite. Important information has been found regarding the foreign link of funding and arms supply. The NIA team had also taken away some documents and details of bank accounts during the search at Prahar’s house in Banjaria of Madhuban police station in East Champaran.

Phones, tablets along with multiple SIMs and a pocket diary recovered

In the NIA raid, two premises belonging to Zonal Commander Ram Babu Ram alias Rajan and Ram Babu Paswan alias Dheeraj and seven others were raided. The NIA team recovered several digital devices. Mainly mobile phones, tablets, HD cards and memory cards as well as multiple SIM cards and a pocket diary. The recovered mobile contained pages containing Naxalite material as well as other Objectionable material and some objectionable documents were also found.
