Gorakhpur. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday conducted a raid targeting a residence in Vikas Nagar of Farenda located in Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh. The operation was regarding possible Pakistani connection. NIA raided the residence of Dr. Fazal Haq alias Faisal Khan. A raid was conducted in search of Haq’s son-in-law Talha Khan. Before Fazal Haq’s family and the people around could understand anything, the members of the investigating agency’s team searched the house. The family members were made to sit in the room and the interrogation started. The mobile, laptop and other documents found in the house were also taken away. Dr. Fazle Haq told that NIA had taken him to Gorakhpur for questioning two months ago. His son-in-law has been living in Farenda for about a month.
Accused youth not found in in-laws house
The NIA team had reached Farenda in search of the accused youth Talha Khan, who had already absconded from his in-laws’ house. The team left after giving court notice to the in-laws and asking them to appear immediately. The accused’s documents and laptop etc. have been sealed and taken along. There is panic among the people due to the raid by NIA team. It is being told that the young man is from Bihar district and the locality with which he lives is in Aligarh. He was involved in suspicious activities. Investigation has revealed that Maulana has also sent a speech on the young man’s mobile which is anti-national. Young man Farenda was living in his in-laws’ house for a long time. Youth Talha Khan’s in-laws house is in Farenda located in Maharajganj district.
People were stunned when the police arrived with a five-member team in civil dress. There was a police guard around the house. Whoever tried to leave the house, the police used to ask them to go into the room. The police guard was so tight that no one was able to go through that route. However, the police gave some relaxation on school timings. Dr. Fazle Haq is a resident of Purandarpur village. About fifteen years ago, he built a house and started living in Vikas Nagar of Farenda. His wife is an ANM who is posted in Mahuwan village. Son works in a private company in Africa. Presently in Farenda. Dr. Fazle Haq holds a Unani degree and works in agriculture.
Maulana of Aligarh had sent an anti-national speech
Let us tell you that Talha Khan, son-in-law of Dr. Faisal Khan, resident of Farenda town, used to work in fashion design in Aligarh. A suspect was caught in the house where Talha Khan lived in Aligarh. Talha Khan currently lives in his in-laws’ house. In the morning, NIA and police went to raid the house with a warrant. NIA has received a notice from the court to Dr. Faisal’s son-in-law Talha Khan. The team has ordered the youth to appear in the court immediately. Dr. Faisal Khan told that the NIA and police team had reached my house at 3:00 am on Thursday morning. Was searching for my son-in-law.
