An FIR has been lodged in Noida’s Kasna police station regarding the role of Prism Hologram in the Chhattisgarh liquor scam. Jharkhand has also been mentioned in this. In the FIR, there has been a possibility of printing fake holograms by this company in Jharkhand. The Uttar Pradesh Police has filed this FIR in the light of the information shared by the Chhattisgarh ED under Section 66(2) of the PMLA. After this FIR, the problems of the officers associated with the Excise Department in Jharkhand may increase.
Hemant, deputy director of ED probing the Chhattisgarh liquor scam, had shared the information found in the investigation against Prism Hologram and others involved in the liquor scam under section 66(2) of the PMLA, after the permission of the competent authorities. The FIR has been registered on the information shared by the ED to the ADG, Special Task Force, Lucknow.
Chhattisgarh Special Secretary Arunpati Tripathi, Excise Commissioner Niranjan Das, IAS officer Anil Tuteja, Prism Hologram’s Vidhu Gupta and Anwar Dhebar have been made accused. In the FIR lodged on the basis of information shared by ED, it was said that Prism Hologram has an important role in the Chhattisgarh liquor scam. This company printed fake holograms from its Noida factory and made it available to the liquor syndicate through Arunpati Tripathi.
Serial information was given by Arunpati Tripathi for printing fake holograms. Because the information and account of the numbers of the holograms printed by the government used to be with Tripathi only. In the light of Tripathi’s information and instructions, the same numbers were again printed with holograms, so that illegal liquor trade could not be caught easily during the investigation.
The state government has suffered a loss of Rs 1,200 crore by running a parallel liquor business by printing fake holograms. It has also been said in the FIR that this company named Prism Hologram has done the work of printing holograms in some other states including Jharkhand.
