Toyota Hycross: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has added a new GX (O) variant for the petrol version of Innova Hycross. The new variant falls between the petrol-only GX and strong hybrid VX trims. The GX (O) is available in 7 and 8-seat configurations. The former is priced at Rs 21.13 lakh, while the latter is priced at Rs 20.99 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).

Compared to the outgoing GX variant, the new grade gets additional features like front LED fog lamps and rear defogger. Inside, this variant gets auto climate control, a 10.1-inch touchscreen (7-seat), wireless Apple CarPlay (7-seat), a rear retractable sunshade and a soft-touch dashboard. As for safety features, the GX (O) trim also gets a 360-degree camera along with front and rear parking sensors.

Innova Highcross MPV now available in 8 trims and 12 variants
With the addition of this new grade, the Innova HighCross MPV is now available in 8 trims and 12 variants, 6 of which are petrol only, while the rest are hybrids. The brand crossed 50,000 unit sales of the Innova HighCross MPV in India within about 15 months of its launch in November 2022.
Innova Highcross engine
Talking about the engine of Innova Highcross, it has a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine which generates power of 170 bhp and torque of 205 Nm, it is paired with CVT gearbox. The hybrid version combines the 2.0-litre petrol engine with a strong-hybrid system that produces 181 bhp and is paired with an e-drive transmission available in the top variants.
