Kia Sonet Facelift Unveil in Delhi: South Korea’s leading car manufacturer Kia Motors is going to present the new Sonet facelift to the world in an event organized in Delhi on 14 December 2023. It will be made available for sale in the market in 2024. Kia Motors launched Sonet for the first time in India in September 2020 during the Corona period. Since then, the biggest update till date is being made by the company in this SUV car. It will be in the market along with Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Verna and Mahindra XUV300. However, even before its presentation to the world, a brochure of the Kia Sonet facelift has been leaked.
Kia Sonet facelift color options
According to the brochure leaked on the internet, Kia Motors will offer the Seltos facelift SUV with 11 color options. These include seven single-tone exterior themes Clear White, Glacier Pearl White, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl and Intense Red. Kia will also offer Pewter Olive colour, which was introduced in the new Seltos earlier this year. Apart from these seven colours, Kia will also offer two dual-tone exterior themes in the combination of Intense Red with Aurora Black Pearl Roof and Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl Roof. Kia will also offer a matte graphite color exclusively for the X-Line trim.
Kia Sonet facelift variants
Leaked information suggests that the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift will be available in seven variants – TSE, HTK, HTK Plus, HTX, HTX Plus, GTX Plus, and X-Line and three trims – HT-Line, GT-Line, and X-Line. Will be available in. It features Level 1 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, 4-way adjustable driver seat, sage green leatherette seats, an all-black interior with sage green inserts, all windows with one-touch up/down function, piano black LED turn signals. Side mirrors, sporty aerodynamics front and skid plates will also be seen.
Features in Kia Sonet Facelift
Talking about the feature list of Kia Sonet facelift, the sporty GTX+ variant gets leatherette-covered D-cut steering wheel with GT Line logo, alloy pedals, all-black interior with sporty white insets, black leatherette seats, dark metallic doors. Garnish, glossy black roof rack, belt line chrome, and 16-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels will be available. Features in the new Kia Sonet facelift include a 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, 10.25-inch driver display, Bose sound system, auto-dimming IRVM, air purifier, cruise control, adjustable rear headrest, rear Disc brake, traction, multiple driving modes, height adjustable driver seat, auto AC and many other features will be available.
Kia Sonet facelift engine and price
The engine lineup of the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift will have the same 83bhp, 1.2L petrol, 120bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol and 116bhp, 1.5L diesel engine options as the current model, and the transmission will also be the same as the pre-facelift model. The new Kia Sonet is expected to be priced slightly higher than the existing model lineup, which currently ranges between Rs 7.79 lakh and Rs 14.89 lakh. The entry-level variant of the new model is expected to be priced around Rs 8 lakh, while the top end model is expected to be priced between Rs 15 to Rs 15.50 lakh.
