Patna. In view of Diwali and Chhath Puja, the great festival of folk faith, Railways has operated many puja special trains on various routes. This time, Pooja special trains will be operated keeping Narkatiaganj at the centre. There will be no hassle of making reservation in this. The same migrants will find it easier to come home during the puja and return to their work again. Railways has issued Pooja special train train no. 04004/04003 New Delhi-Sitamarhi train which will be unreserved, will be operated via Moradabad-Gorakhpur-Narkatiyaganj. Train number 04004 New Delhi-Sitamarhi special train will depart from New Delhi at 00.10 on 11, 14 and 17 November and reach Sitamarhi at 23.30 on the same day. In return, train number 04003 Sitamarhi-New Delhi train will depart from Sitamarhi at 02.00 hrs on 12th, 15th and 18th November and reach New Delhi at 01.30 hrs the next day. This special train will have 20 ordinary class coaches.
Pooja special train will operate from Saharsa to Ambala Cantt.
On the other hand, Pooja special train will operate from Saharsa to Ambala Cantt and Raxaul to Anand Vihar. Train number 05531 Raxaul-Anand Vihar special train between Raxaul and Anand Vihar will depart from Raxaul at 22.25 hrs every Sunday from 26 November to 10 December. This train will reach Anand Vihar at 18.00 hrs the next day on Monday, stopping at various stations. In return, Train No. 05532 Anand Vihar-Raxaul Special will depart from Anand Vihar at 20.00 hrs every Monday from 27th November to 11th December and will reach Raxaul at 14.30 hrs the next day on Tuesday. In up and down direction, this train will stop at Sagauli, Bettiah, Narkatiaganj, Bagaha, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur, Moradabad and Ghaziabad stations. This special also will have 20 ordinary category coaches. Whereas train no. 05577/05578 Saharsa-Ambala Cantt-Saharsa Special train will depart from Saharsa at 19.10 hrs every Friday from 24th November to 08th December and will reach Ambala Cantt at 23.15 hrs on Saturday the next day, stopping at various stations. In return, train number 05578 Ambala Cantt-Saharsa Special will depart from Ambala Cantt at 03.40 hrs every Sunday from November 26 to 10 and will reach Saharsa at 09.45 hrs the next day on Monday.
DMU train will run from Jhanjharpur to Forbesganj, approval received
According to the information received from Jhanjharpur, the Railway Department has started preparations for the operation of trains from Darbhanga to Forbesganj on Sakri-Nirmali-Saharsa-Forbisganj railway section. Regarding train operations, the Board had sent a proposal to the Board for expansion of the DMU train running between Darbhanga-Jhanjharpur. Which has been approved. Direct rail service between Darbhanga and Forbesganj will start after almost 90 years. Due to which Mithilanchal will be directly connected to Seemanchal through Kosi river. It is known that after the completion of the gauge conversion work, the last phase on Saharsa-Forbisganj railway section from Narpatganj to Forbesganj was inspected by CRS on 11 January 2023. After the inspection, there was hope of starting the operation of trains between Darbhanga and Forbesganj for the last nine months.
Forbesganj Darbhanga DMU Special Train Time Table
Train number 05580 will depart from Forbesganj at 3 am and will reach Jhanjharpur at 6:45 am and Darbhanga at 8:20 am, stopping at all small and big stations. Whereas 05579 will depart from Darbhanga at 7:10 pm, stopping at all small and big stations and will depart from Jhanjharpur at 8:35 am and reach Forbesganj at 12:20 am.
Expectations for train operation increased due to inspection
The way the Railway Department is preparing for running the train between Darbhanga to Forbesganj via Jhanjharpur. Similarly, expectations are increasing among the people of the area. On 6th November, once again window inspection between Saraigarh and Darbhanga was done by DRM Vinay Srivastava. He said that approval has been given to operate trains on Darbhanga-Forbisganj railway section. Some patching work remains. After completion of which the train is expected to operate.
