The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Mahendra Koda, a resident of Tamkulia Kodasi, who used to maintain his family by driving a tractor owned by a villager. On last Wednesday, Mahendra Koda had left the house saying that he was going to drive a tractor, but did not return home and on Thursday morning his body was recovered by the villagers in the forest near Kodasi village. After this incident, there was uproar among the relatives of the deceased.
6 people of maternal home including two brothers murdered
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Barhat police station reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Sunita Koda, the wife of the deceased told that the Naxalite organization had earlier threatened to kill the entire family. According to the villagers, Sunita, the wife of the deceased, has also been an active member of the Naxalite organization earlier. Naxalites have already killed 6 people of her maternal home including her two brothers and have now killed her husband.
Hardcore Naxalite Sunil Yadav arrested
