Jharkhand Naxalities News: West Singhbhum district police got another success on Sunday in the ongoing campaign against Naxalites. Police demolished the Naxalite camp and recovered many other items including ration material. However, seeing the police, the Naxalites had already left the camp and fled. In this regard, SP of West Singhbhum district Ashutosh Shekhar said that the police is continuously campaigning against the Naxalites.
Information was received about the arrival of CPI Maoist
The SP said that the police had received a secret information that Chaman alias Lambu, Amit Munda, Saluka Kayam, Prabhat Munda alias Mukhiya of the banned Naxalite organization CPI Maoist, along with their squad, is roaming in the border area of Chaibasa-Seraikela and Khunti district. At the same time, the security forces are also running a continuous campaign against the Naxalites.

He told that on the basis of secret information, a joint operation was conducted in the border forest areas of Vanagram Nawada, Ulibera, Sarugoda and Gitiuli under Karaikela police station, the highly naxal-affected area of West Singhbhum. As part of the campaign, at around 10.15 am on Sunday morning, there was a report of Naxalism in that area by the banned Naxalite organization CPI-Maoist in the hilly and forested area near Vangram Ulibera and Gitiuli forest under Karaikela police station. After which the police reached that place, but by then the Naxalites had got a clue about the arrival of the police. Because of this, those people ran away leaving the cooked food. The police demolished the Naxalite camp set up by the Naxalites. At the same time, many other items including ration were recovered. The SP said that the campaign against the Naxalites will continue even further.

It may be known that Nawada area is a heavily Naxalite affected area of the entire West Singhbhum district. This area is the border area of Seraikela-Kharsawan, Khunti and West Singhbhum districts. Due to which Naxalites easily move from this area to another district after carrying out any incident. This area is in the middle of the whole dense mountain. Due to which this area of Naxalites is considered as safe zone.
Many items including ration recovered
Here, the security forces have recovered about 30 kilograms of rice and pulses, other items of daily use, plastic tents, two pairs of shoes, two batteries, electric wire, gati, two torches, thermos, utensils, mugs and various essential items from the Naxalite camp. Life saving medicines have been recovered. Chaibasa Police, Jharkhand Jaguar, Cobra 209 Battalion, CRPF 60 Battalion besides 112, 157 and 193 battalion personnel were involved in this campaign.
