National Highway: Travel between Arwal-Jehanabad and Bihar Sharif will be easy, length of NH-110 will now be 89 km.

Arwal-Jehanabad-Biharsharif NH-110 will be constructed as a four-lane road in about 89 km length. This will directly benefit the people of Arwal, Jehanabad and Nalanda districts in terms of transportation. In this regard, the state government had sent a proposal to make the road four-lane to the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Now the Ministry has started the process of agency selection through tender to prepare DPR for the construction of this road. After the DPR is approved and land is acquired, the construction of this road is likely to start next year.

NH 2C will be constructed in 51 km length with two lane paved shoulder.

Along with this, there is a plan to construct about 51 km length of old NH 2C (new NH-119) with two-lane paved shoulder in Rohtas district. The people of Rohtas and Arwal districts will directly benefit from this. For this, the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has started the process of agency selection for preparing DPR. The construction of this road is also likely to start by the end of next year. Due to the protected forest area ahead of Akbarpur on this road, the Forest Department has been raising objections to increasing the width of the road.
