In the new year, it will be easy for the people of the district to travel towards UP. The construction of the road from Mairwa to Rampur Burjag border of UP has started with it getting the status of National Highway. At a cost of Rs 40 crore, the condition of Rampur Elderly Path on UP border will change from Guthni turn of Mairwa. Under this, 4.33 kilometer road will be constructed. This route has got the status of NH. Now instead of single and dilapidated road, doubling and construction of Chamcham road will be done. Due to which travel on this route will be convenient and time will also be reduced. Now the journey from the district to Gorakhpur via Majhauli Raj via Salempur Deoria will be easy.
Under this scheme, a 12 meter wide road will be built from Guthni More to Majhauli More and along with it, drains and favor blocks of three feet each will be installed on both sides. The pitching area of this road will be 12 meters which is currently 10 meters. This construction will be 733 meters. A 3.66 kilometer new road is to be constructed from Majhauli Mor to UP border Rampur Buzurg. This road is currently only two meters wide and is in bad shape. This road will have a 10 meter wide pitching area. Apart from this, three fine fiber blocks will also be installed on both sides. A concrete drain also has to be constructed on both sides of the road.
Three crores will be spent in removing the transformer
For widening of the road, the electric poles and transformers installed on the roadside have to be shifted. An amount of Rs 3 crore is to be spent in this scheme. There is arbitrariness in installing electric poles on the roadside and instead of installing the poles on the roadside, they are installed adjacent to the pitch area. Due to which a huge amount is spent during the widening of the road.
Land will have to be acquired from Majhauli Mor to Rampur Buzurg.
At present, the road from Majhauli turn of Mairwa to Rampur Buzurg is quite narrow, due to which there is a problem of traffic jam every day. The pitching area of the road has now been reduced to 10 metres. Besides, Faber blocks also have to be installed on both sides. Overall, now 20 meter width is required for the road. For this, land will also have to be acquired. Which has been proposed in the DPR.
This road connects Bihar and UP
This road is the main road connecting Bihar to UP. It connects the district to Deoria and Gorakhpur districts of UP via Rampur border. This route also connects Bankata, Sohanpur, Bhatpar, Ranibhatni, Barhaj, Lar Road, Salempur, Deoria, Gorakhpur and Ballia border. Also, the distance from the route is less than Guthni and Mehrauna routes. Also, with the construction of this path, travel will be easy, close and convenient. The problem of traffic and jam will also be reduced in this route.
NH will get the construction done
This road will be built from Guthni turn of Mairwa on Ram Janaki Path to Rampur Buzurg in UP. Which later again joins the Ramjanaki Path in Salempur, UP. This 4.33 kilometer road has got the status of National Highway. Which is to be constructed by National Highway Division Chapra i.e. NH Division Chapra.

Doubling road is to be constructed from Guthni turn of Mairwa to UP border Rampur Buzurg. Earlier a seven meter wide road was to be constructed and its DPR was also made. Now the department has increased the pitching area of the road to 10 meters. Then a new DPR is being prepared. The target is to complete the construction work in the new year.
