Namo Bharat Rapid Rail: Electric autos will transport passengers to Namo Bharat train, the lowest fare will be Rs 10.

Passengers living in colonies and villages around the stations traveling by Namo Bharat train will not only be brought to the RRTS stations but will also be transported there. For this, NCRTC has started electric auto feeder service from four stations of priority section. Besides, DTC buses have also been operated from Sahibabad station to take passengers to Delhi. People want to travel by the country’s first Namo Bharat trains, but the distance from the stations to the colonies is long. There are about 45 societies in Rajnagar Extension area near Guldhar station. Apart from this, there are many such villages and colonies including Sanjay Nagar, Jagriti Vihar, Shahpur Morta, Ator Nangla, Basantpur Sainthali, Bhikkanpur, Milak Chakarpur, from which people travel daily to Sahibabad and Delhi. In such a situation, NCRTC has started this auto service to connect these villages and colonies with Namo Bharat.

The lowest fare will be Rs 10 – Puneet Vats

NCRTC Chief Public Relations Officer Puneet Vats said that this electric auto feeder service will be available at important stations of priority section, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar and Duhai and their minimum fare has been fixed at Rs 10. He said that with the availability of environment-friendly transport options, people’s journey will become more convenient. The Chief Public Relations Officer further said that on the request of NCRTC, Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has started operating electric buses from Anand Vihar bus stand to Sahibabad station.

This will be the timing of DTC bus service

Daily the first bus from Anand Vihar ISBT will leave at 6.20 am and the last bus will leave for Sahibabad at 9.35 pm. Bus service from Sahibabad to Anand Vihar will start from 07.05 am and will be available till 10:20 pm. Buses will be available for passengers from Sahibabad and Anand Vihar ISBT at an interval of 20 minutes. This initiative by NCRTC aims to provide a solution to the problems faced by passengers due to inadequate number or non-availability of transport options, by bridging the distance between the passengers’ destination and public transport. Also, this initiative will not only provide connectivity to RRTS stations but will also ensure seamless movement in the entire region.

NCRTC is actively integrating these last-mile connectivity services into the wider transportation system. Dedicated pick-up and drop-off locations have been created at all RRTS stations underscoring NCRTC’s commitment towards seamless integration and passenger convenience. As new sections continue to become operational for the public on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor, the range of feeder services will continue to expand, thereby increasing accessibility and convenience for passengers. Let us tell you that on Friday, October 20, the Honorable Prime Minister had inaugurated the primary section and flagged off India’s first Namo Bharat trains from Sahibabad RRTS station.
