Nalanda: Two real sisters died after falling into a well in Nalanda. The deceased have been identified as Saloni Kumari (11) and Pallavi Kumari (3), father- Rajesh Kumar. The incident took place in Khad Goraiya village of Islampur police station area.
The family members told that Rajesh’s younger daughter Pallavi was playing outside the house. While playing, she went near a well and because the well was not fenced, she accidentally fell into it. Seeing him falling into the well, his elder sister started trying to save him and she also fell into the well. In this sequence both the girls drowned in the well. When the villagers saw his dead body in the well, they informed his family. As soon as the family heard the news, they rushed to the well and took both of them out as soon as possible to the hospital, where the doctor declared both of them dead. After the incident, the family members were in a bad condition, crying.
Here, as soon as the information about the incident was received, Police Station Head Sanjeev Kumar Singh reached the spot with his team, took possession of the body and sent it to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The police station incharge said that the dead bodies have been handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.
