Light clouds may remain in the sky from May 7 to 11

According to the weather forecast issued by the Agricultural Meteorological Department of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, the sky may remain partly cloudy from May 7 to 11. The weather is expected to remain generally dry during this period. Due to the westerly wind, the temperature will increase by two to three degrees. The maximum temperature can be around 38 to 39 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature can be around 22 to 24 degree Celsius. The Meteorological Department has said that during this period the humidity is likely to be 70 to 75 percent in the morning and 45 to 50 percent in the afternoon.

Farmers should do the work of harvesting and drying maize crop

Agricultural scientists have given crop related suggestions to the farmers keeping in view the weather trend. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, farmers have been suggested to complete the harvesting and drying of rabi maize. Along with this, it has also been suggested to leave the field open after deep plowing of the empty fields, so that the eggs, pupae and grass seeds of insects hidden in the soil are destroyed by the strong sunlight. It has also been asked to prepare for Kharif paddy cultivation.
