Muzaffarpur Weather: People shiver due to icy wind blowing from north-west, know from which day they will get relief.

Cold day situation will continue for two more days in the districts of North Bihar. In such a situation, one will have to face severe cold. Dr. AK Sattar, Senior Scientist cum Nodal Officer Agriculture-Meteor of the Meteorological Department, said that icy wind is blowing from the north-west. Due to which, with the sudden drop in temperature, people are suffering from shivering cold.

The meteorologist said that there is a possibility of light sunshine during the day from January 18. On Tuesday too, fog like situation persisted from morning till evening due to cold. The day temperature was 10.2 degrees below normal. Due to this one had to face shivering cold. The forecast till January 21 has been issued by the Meteorological Department. Under this, relief has been expressed from the increase in day temperature from January 20.

Temperature stable since last 48 hours

According to the records of the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature recorded on Tuesday was 12 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was 9.1 degrees. Last Monday the temperature was around this record. At present there is a difference of only 3 degrees between day and night temperatures. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of dense fog in the morning in the coming five days. During this period, the maximum temperature will be between 15 to 18 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be between 9 to 11 degrees.

During the forecast period, it is expected to remain cold and dry due to cold westerly winds. Due to this, cold day conditions are likely to persist for one or two days. There 3 to 4 km. Westerly wind will blow at the speed of one hour.

Ban on educational activities till 8th till January 20

Due to the cold wave, educational activities up to class 8th have been banned in government and private schools of the district till January 20. DM Pranav Kumar issued instructions regarding this on Tuesday. Earlier there was a ban on educational work till January 16, which has been extended till January 20. On the other hand, classes from 9th onwards will be conducted with utmost caution from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. It has been said in the order that from Mission Daksh to the special classes conducted for board exams, they have been kept exempted from this.
