An agreement has been signed with Bihar government regarding 100 KLPD 2G ethanol plant. Maize farmers will also benefit from this. In this two-day long program, MOUs are expected to be signed with more branded companies for Muzaffarpur. At the time of the MOU, Additional Chief Secretary of the Industries Department, Sandeep Poundrick and many officials were present.

Two plants are already operational, one under construction

Two ethanol plants are already operational in Motipur area of ​​Muzaffarpur. With this the product has started. A branded company is setting up a biofuel plant, which is under construction. Recently, a video of the MD of the concerned company was also released by the Industries Department. In this he had told that his experience with Bihar and department officials regarding this plant has been good. Information was given regarding Bihar Business Connect program that infrastructure for investment has also been developed here. Other entrepreneurs were also encouraged to set up plants. After the construction of two more new ethanol plants, the employment potential in the area will increase significantly.

2G ethanol production provides environmentally friendly fuel, which will help in decarbonizing the transportation system. At the same time, it will be better used for agricultural production, because it will be used in whole plants instead of only the food grains parts.

A total of 600 investors including representatives of Indian business houses have participated in the Patna Summit. MoU has been signed for 12 units from Muzaffarpur in Patna.
