Muzaffarnagar: Unhappy with marriage, man shoots wife, then commits suicide, middleman narrowly escapes

Muzaffarnagar: Unhappy with his marriage, a man committed suicide by shooting his wife. Before this incident, he also tried to kill the middleman who arranged the marriage, who seems to be a cousin. Also fired when a neighbor came in between. The neighbor was also injured during the incident. The local police have sent the dead bodies for postmortem.

Nasim, a resident of village Makhiyali in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, was married to Tamanna, a resident of Ghaziabad’s Loni. According to the police, the marriage of Naseem and Tamanna was arranged by Naseem’s cousin Saddam 4 months ago. After marriage, the couple was not happy with each other and disputes used to happen every day. Expressing displeasure over her marriage, Naseem had called cousin Saddam on Thursday and if sources are to be believed, Naseem had talked about coming to Saddam’s house on the phone.

SP Dehat Atul Kumar Srivastava told that Naseem gave voice after reaching Saddam’s house. Hearing Naseem’s voice, Saddam hid in the house and Naseem started a ruckus. Meanwhile, Saddam’s neighbor wanted to know about the matter, then fired at him too and got shot in the throat. When a lot of people gathered on the spot, Naseem left Tamanna sitting on the bike and left the incident place.

According to the police, Naseem shot Tamanna in the street a short distance away from the house, then shot himself and committed suicide. After some time his wife also died. The bodies of both have been sent for postmortem and the police is engaged in the investigation.
