Muzaffar Nagar News: Teachers angry over murder of colleague in Muzaffar Nagar, protest by stopping evaluation of board copies

Lucknow: There is anger among the teacher class due to the murder of a colleague in Muzaffar Nagar (Muzaffar Nagar News). Angry teachers (Teachers Protest Today) have started protesting by stopping the evaluation of board copies in many districts including the capital Lucknow and Muzaffar Nagar. Teachers are protesting at Jubilee Inter College located near City Station in Lucknow. Hundreds of teachers have gathered on the civil line in Muzaffar Nagar also. There too, strict action is being demanded against the accused head constable. The police is trying to convince the teachers.

Demand to give one crore rupees to the family
On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh Secondary Teachers Association (Madhyamik Shikshak Sangh) has announced to boycott the evaluation work one day after the murder of teacher Dharmendra Kumar. Union President Suresh Kumar Tripathi, General Secretary Narendra Kumar Verma, Shikshak Dal leader Dhruv Kumar Tripathi have demanded from the state government that an ex-gratia amount of Rs 1 crore should be given to the deceased family as immediate assistance. By taking the family members into government service, full salary and other facilities should be given to them for the period of service of the deceased.

It is noteworthy that Dharmendra Kumar, teacher of Government High School, Mahagaon, Varanasi, along with his fellow teacher Santosh Kuma, two class IV employees Jitendra Maurya and Krishna Pratap, a sub-inspector on security duty Nagendra Chauhan and head constable Chandra Prakash, appeared for the UP Board High School Examination from Varanasi.
