Murder in Patna: On Thursday, bike-riding criminals shot a gas vendor in Patna’s Kankarbagh area. The vendor died on the spot after being shot. The incident happened near LIG Park at around 10 am. The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Ranjit Ram. It is being told that when this incident happened, Ranjeet had gone out to deliver the gas cylinder. Meanwhile, two miscreants riding a bike fired at them from behind and ran away. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
CCTV footage also surfaced
A CCTV footage related to the murder has also surfaced. In which it can be seen that a person is pulling a vehicle laden with gas cylinders and Ranjeet is also following the vehicle. Then two miscreants riding a bike come from behind and shoot Ranjeet and run away.
After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigation. In this regard, Sadar ASP Sweety Sehrawat said that the police is busy finding out the reason for the murder. He said that till now information has been received about two bike riding miscreants. The police have conducted the post-mortem of Ranjeet’s body and are waiting for the report. Police say that the reasons for the murder will be known from the post-mortem report.

After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and started investigation. In this regard, Sadar ASP Sweety Sehrawat said that the police is busy finding out the reason for the murder. He told that till now information has been received about two bike riding miscreants. Right now a bullet is visible. Post mortem of Ranjeet’s body has been done and the report is awaited. Detailed information related to the incident will be available only after the post mortem report comes.

ASP said that the family of the deceased is being discussed in the matter. It is being ascertained what is the reason behind the murder. The family members have been asked whether they suspect anyone or not. Whether Ranjeet had enmity with anyone or not. Ranjeet is said to be originally a resident of Nalanda.

There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after the incident. People say that they are scared of this incident which happened in broad daylight. The police have assured the people that the accused will be arrested soon.
