Seeing the police, the weapon maker and the kingpin started running away, but the police chased them away and arrested them. When the police conducted a search operation in the corn field, they recovered a huge amount of weapon making equipment and parts including 3 semi-finished pistols, five cartridges, 5 base machines, 2 drill machines, 2 finished magazines. Police have arrested arms smuggler Rajaram Yadav, son of Vijay Yadav, resident of Tikarampur, Mo Mubarak, son of Mo Rehman, resident of Mirzapur Bardah, Bittu Kumar and Pintu Kumar, residents of Tikarapur Bihari Marar Tola.

Rajaram is the kingpin, there was a demand from West Bengal

Probationary Superintendent of Police cum Police Station Head Shailendra Singh said that the arrested Rajaram Yadav is the kingpin. There was a demand for weapons from West Bengal and other states, to fulfill which weapons were being manufactured secretly in the corn fields. He told that these people supply weapons to different states of the country. The arrested kingpin has revealed the names of the artisans and arms smugglers involved in this.

The police have started investigation regarding this. He said that in view of the Lok Sabha elections, a continuous campaign is being run to tighten the noose on arms manufacturing and smuggling. The arrested kingpin and artisans have old criminal history. The arrested arms smugglers have been sent to jail in judicial custody after registering an FIR in the Mofussil police station.
