Hearing in fake ambulance case on November 8
Hearing in the fake ambulance case registered against Mukhtar Ansari was held through video conferencing in the MP-MLA court of Barabanki on Wednesday. Mukhtar Ansari looked ill and lethargic during the hearing. He kept quietly narrating the testimony of the fourth witness, ward councilor Faisal, who appeared in the court. After completion of the cross-examination, the court has fixed November 8 as the next hearing date. Barabanki ACJM Vipin Yadav appeared in Court 19 in the case of ambulance (UP41 AT 7171) taken on fake name and address.
Advocate Randhir Singh Suman told that on virtual appearance, Mukhtar Ansari from Banda Jail and his two other henchmen Jafar alias Chanda from Sant Kabir Nagar Jail, Afroz alias Chunnu from Ghazipur Jail appeared in the court. Mukhtar Ansari’s lawyer Randhir Singh Suman said that the fourth prosecution witness in the Government vs. Dr. Alka Rai case is Mohd., councilor of Nehru Nagar ward of the city area. Faisal appeared.
Mohammad Faisal told in the court that the house at which the address of the fake ambulance was registered does not fall in our ward. After recording the statement of the councilor, the court has summoned the next witness Mohammad Anwar. A case was registered against Dr. Alka Rai at the city police station in April 2021 on charges of registration of ambulance in Barabanki on the basis of fake documents. In this case, after the name of Mukhtar Ansari came up and the charges were framed, the court trial is going on.
