In such a situation, Mukhtar has appealed to the judge several times in the court regarding the possibility of him being murdered in jail. Because of fear he is not able to understand anything. In the latest case, Mukhtar Ansari’s son Omar Ansari has appealed to the Supreme Court for the safety of his father’s life. In this, a demand has been raised to transfer Mukhtar from Banda jail to another jail.
A conspiracy is being hatched to kill the father in jail.
Omar Ansari, son of Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari, has filed a petition in the Supreme Court. In this petition, he has raised the demand to transfer his father from Banda Jail in Uttar Pradesh to another jail. Omar Ansari says that his father’s life is in danger in Banda jail. At the same time, he has alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to kill his father in jail, hence the court should order him to be transferred out of UP to a non-BJP ruled state. Mukhtar Ansari is an accused in many cases and has also been convicted in some cases.
No trust in government and administration
Omar Ansari has said in his petition that Mukhtar Ansari belongs to a political party. Therefore, they oppose the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party of Uttar Pradesh politically and ideologically. For this reason his family is targeted and harassed by the state government. UP Police can get his father killed by hired killers. A conspiracy to murder his father is going on in full swing and he and his family members have become aware of this. They do not trust the government and administration at all. Along with this, Mukhtar’s son has accused the government of harassing his family. The petition has also sought direction that Mukhtar Ansari should be produced before the courts only through video conferencing.
High Court has ordered to increase security
Omar Ansari said in his petition that his mother had earlier approached the Allahabad High Court for the safety and security of Mukhtar Ansari. The High Court had ordered to increase security on 3 May 2023, after which an incident took place on 18 May 2023. During this time, some unknown and suspicious people had reached his father’s barrack. He is very troubled by such incidents. He says that this apprehension also arises from the fact that Mukhtar Ansari is an eyewitness in many criminal cases, where influential leaders of the ruling BJP are accused.
