BJP has moved ahead towards a landslide victory in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. BJP is leading on 166 seats, while Congress seems to be getting only 63 seats. Here, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has registered a resounding victory from Budhni seat. He defeated the Congress candidate by more than one lakh votes. Shivraj got a total of 164951 (+104974) votes. Whereas Congress candidate Vikram Mastal Sharma got only 59977 votes.
Shivraj got more than 70 percent votes
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has badly defeated other candidates from Budhni seat. His victory can be understood from the fact that he got a total of 70.7 percent votes from this seat. If we talk about individual votes, Shivraj got a total of 163823 votes from EVM and 1128 votes from postal. While his nearest rival Congress candidate Vikram Mastal Sharma got only 25.71 percent votes. He got a total of 59466 EVM votes and only 511 postal votes.
