MP Election Results 2023: People are hailing Janardan, political journey of Shivraj Singh Chouhan

MP Election Results 2023 :Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the longest serving Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, is contesting from Budhni seat of Sehore district. While reacting to the trends of the election results, he has raised the slogan of ‘Janta Janardan ki Jai’. He has congratulated all the candidates of BJP. He is contesting from Budhni for the fourth time where he is facing Congress’s Vikram Mastan. However, this time BJP has not declared him as the CM face. This time, BJP’s Shivraj Singh Chauhan is confident that he will get the mandate in his favor in this election also on 230 seats of the state. There is also confidence that along with the welfare schemes of the Centre, the benefits of schemes like Ladli Brahmin Yojana of the state government will translate into trust.

Political journey of Shivraj Singh Chauhan

If we look at the political journey of Shivraj Singh Chouhan, a thirteen year old young man joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He contested the first election of his life in 10th class. He became the president of the student union by winning the elections for the first time in class 11th. Shivraj Singh Chouhan strongly opposed the emergency imposed by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, during which he also went to jail in the year 1976-77. He became MLA for the first time in 1990 and in 1991, he reached Parliament House for the first time after winning the election from Vidisha seat.

During the Emergency imposed by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, many leaders emerged before the country. Shivraj Singh Chauhan is also one of them. Shivraj Singh Chauhan had strongly opposed the Emergency, due to which he was also jailed in 1976-77. After coming out of jail, he was also made the convener, general secretary and national executive member of ABVP. In 1988, he was made the President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha.

Shivraj Singh Chauhan had reached Parliament House for the first time by winning the elections from Vidisha seat. The reason for this was the resignation of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. What actually happened was that in the 1991 Lok Sabha elections, Atal Bihari Vajpayee had contested from 2 seats, Vidisha and Lucknow. He won both these seats in the elections, after which he resigned from Vidisha seat, giving priority to Lucknow. For this reason, BJP made Shivraj Singh Chauhan contest the by-election from Vidisha and Shivraj Singh Chauhan became MP from Vidisha from 1991 to 2005. Till now he has gone to Parliament five times after winning from Vidisha seat. During this period, he was appointed a member of important committees like Consultative Committee of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Urban and Rural Development Committee, Consultative Committee of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Hindi Consultative Committee and Labor and Welfare Committee.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan made many records as CM

Shivraj Singh Chauhan is the most experienced Chief Minister of BJP. Shivraj Singh Chauhan became the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for the first time in 2005. After the resignation of the then Chief Minister Babulal Gaur, he was made the Chief Minister of the state. Under the leadership of Shivraj Singh Chauhan, BJP won the 2008 and 2013 assembly elections with a huge majority, after which he retained the post of Chief Minister. In 2018, Congress won the elections and made Kamal Nath the new Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, but that government could not complete even two years. After which BJP again came to power in 2020 and Shivraj Singh Chauhan took oath as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for the fourth time. Now this time it is awaited whether the public accepts ‘Mama’ as their leader or not.
