MP Election Results 2023: Chauhan, Kamal Nath confident of victory of their respective parties

Bhopal, A day before the counting of votes in Madhya Pradesh, on Saturday, both Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) expressed confidence of victory in the assembly elections. Counting of votes for all 230 assembly seats of the state will begin at 8 am today at 52 district headquarters amid tight security. Here everyone is claiming their own victory.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan claimed that his party BJP will retain power with an overwhelming majority, while state Congress chief Kamal Nath said he has full faith in the voters of the state. Here many exit polls have put BJP ahead of Congress.

Chauhan told reporters on Saturday that BJP is going to form the government with an overwhelming majority. He said that due to love and trust in (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi ji, schemes of the Center and the state, unprecedented development of Madhya Pradesh, BJP will get more seats.

Asked about exit poll projections, Kamal Nath told reporters, “I have nothing to do with (such) surveys.” I have confidence in the voters of Madhya Pradesh”

Responding to a question about reaching out to party rebels and independent candidates (in the event of a hung assembly), he said there would be no need for it.

He asked that if BJP has 160 seats then why is it doing drama by talking to such people.
