This means that Congress can release its list on October 15. It is noteworthy that BJP has already announced candidates for 136 out of 230 assembly constituencies of the state. He said that the people of Madhya Pradesh have decided to remove the BJP government. Voting will be held in Madhya Pradesh on November 17 while counting of votes will take place on December 3.

Earlier, former Madhya Pradesh CM and Congress leader Kamal Nath wrote on his social media platform X that as soon as the date of assembly elections was announced, there was panic in BJP. This time there is a strange uneasiness among the ‘Panna Pramukhs’ in BJP, which considers ‘Panna Pramukhs’ as the basis of its election strategy. The way candidates are being imposed from above in the state, there is a discussion among the Panna Pramukhs at the booth level that when the big name leaders of BJP are not running, then what will happen to our future in the party. Result of 2018 assembly elections

It should be noted that no party got a clear majority in the 2018 assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh. Congress won 114 seats and formed a coalition government under the leadership of Kamal Nath with the support of SP, BSP and independent MLAs. However, in March 2020, the Kamal Nath government fell due to the rebellion of his supporting MLAs from the Congress under the leadership of Jyotiraditya Scindia.

After the announcement of the election date, Kamal Nath had said that today the voting dates were announced for which everyone was waiting for many years. The Congress leader was indirectly referring to the fall of the Congress government led by him in March 2020, 15 months after coming to power in 2018, when several party MLAs left the party under the leadership of Jyotiraditya Scindia.
