MP Election 2023: How will Congress field candidates against BJP? The list may come on this day

MP Election 2023: After the announcement of the date of assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, BJP and Congress now seem to be more active. On one hand BJP has released its fourth list. People are now waiting for the Congress list. Meanwhile, the statement of Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath has come to light. He said on Tuesday that Congress will announce its candidates for the assembly elections in the state after the period of Pitru Paksha. Let us tell you that during Pitru Paksha, Hindus pay tribute to their ancestors. This year it started on 29 September and will end on 14 October. This means that Congress can release its list on October 15. It is noteworthy that BJP has already announced candidates for 136 out of 230 assembly constituencies of the state. Speaking to the media, Kamal Nath said that the Congress list will be released after ‘Shraddha’ (another word for Pitru Paksha). He said that the people of Madhya Pradesh have decided to remove the BJP government. Voting will be held in Madhya Pradesh on November 17 while counting of votes will take place on December 3.

There is panic in BJP

Earlier, former Madhya Pradesh CM and Congress leader Kamal Nath wrote on his social media platform X that as soon as the date of assembly elections was announced, there was panic in BJP. This time there is a strange uneasiness among the ‘Panna Pramukhs’ in BJP, which considers ‘Panna Pramukhs’ as the basis of its election strategy. The way candidates are being imposed from above in the state, there is a discussion among the Panna Pramukhs at the booth level that when the big name leaders of BJP are not running, then what will happen to our future in the party. When the BJP for which we worked hard is running by making the leaders sitting at high level only pawns who follow the orders, then there is no question of our advice or political status. For this reason, there is an atmosphere of disappointment and frustration in BJP at the booth level. Everyone is slowly looking for an excuse to go out of the party. BJP, which claims to be the largest party, is going to make a record of the largest internal migration. According to this, till the election date comes, BJP will be confined to its office only.

Kamal Nath wrote on the social media platform That is why it has been heard that from yesterday itself, photographs have started coming down from the walls of the official residences of BJP ministers and MLAs and they have already started making arrangements for evacuation and have got this work of collecting the items done with great care. Because they fear that no file of their exploits might be left behind. The public is telling BJP not to worry, we will pack your bags and bedding.

Result of 2018 assembly elections

It should be noted that no party got a clear majority in the 2018 assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh. Congress won 114 seats and formed a coalition government under the leadership of Kamal Nath with the support of SP, BSP and independent MLAs. However, in March 2020, the Kamal Nath government fell due to the rebellion of his supporting MLAs from the Congress under the leadership of Jyotiraditya Scindia.

After the announcement of the election date, Kamal Nath had said that today the voting dates were announced for which everyone was waiting for many years. This will be a day to teach a lesson to those who hijacked democracy and establish a government of truth in the state. The Congress leader was indirectly referring to the fall of the Congress government led by him in March 2020, 15 months after coming to power in 2018, when several party MLAs left the party under the leadership of Jyotiraditya Scindia. Along with Scindia, his supporting MLAs joined BJP and he himself became a Union Minister. Here, General Secretary in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Randeep Singh Surjewala has indicated that naturally Kamal Nath will be the face of the party for the post of Chief Minister.
