MP Election 2023: Congress MP Tankha calls Nari Shakti Vandan Act a slogan of BJP

Congress Rajya Sabha member Vivek Tankha Nari Shakti Vandan Act Questions were raised on Monday over the intentions of the Central Government for not implementing it immediately. He claimed that this is just a slogan of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and that the BJP never had any intention of giving reservation to women. Tankha said in Indore that BJP had to say a phrase in the name of Nari Shakti Vandan Act and the ruling party at the Center said it.

God knows whether Nari Shakti Vandan Act 2029 will be implemented or in 2039: Congress

Vivek Tankha said, now they (BJP) say that after census, delimitation of seats and reservation, this Act will be implemented in the year 2029. Now only God will tell whether this Act will be implemented in 2029 or 2039?

For this reason BJP government introduced Women’s Reservation Bill

Tankha claimed that Nari Shakti Vandan Bill It was introduced because the ruling BJP wanted to organize an event in the new Parliament building. He said, BJP has merely performed a ritual in the name of this bill and it never had any intention of giving reservation to women.

Anti-incumbency wave in Madhya Pradesh

Tankha claimed that there is an anti-incumbency wave against the BJP in Madhya Pradesh and reliable sources have told him quoting the alleged report of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) that the BJP will get only 60-65 seats out of the total 230 in the assembly elections.

Tankha condemned Ramesh Bidhuri’s statement

Condemning BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri’s use of abusive words in Parliament for Bahujan Samaj Party MP Danish Ali, the Congress MP said that it is shameful to see people like Bidhuri as public representatives. Tankha said on a question that not only Sanatan Dharma but no such statement should be made against any religion which would hurt the sentiments of the people.
