Congress leader and former CM of the state Kamal Nath had given a guarantee that Nari Samman Yojana would be brought under which Rs 1500-1500 would be given to women by the government. After this Shivraj Singh Chouhan became active and announced that we will increase the amount of Ladli Bahna Yojana to Rs.3000. From October this amount was increased to Rs 1250 till the announcement.
