Basant Panchami 2024: Every year, Basant Panchami is celebrated on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Magh month. On this day, there is a ritual to worship Goddess Saraswati. This time Basant Panchami will be celebrated on 14 February in the month of Magh. Preparations for Saraswati Puja to be held on 14th February have started. The day of Basant Panchami is dedicated to Mother Saraswati, Goddess Saraswati is worshiped on this day. Mother Saraswati is considered the goddess of knowledge, music, art, science and craftsmanship. Spring season starts from Shukla Panchami of Magh month. The weather becomes pleasant, trees start growing new leaves, mango trees are laden with blossoms and the fields appear yellow filled with mustard flowers.
