Hajipur. In Vaishali district, a mother-in-law burnt her son-in-law alive just because his complexion was black. The badly burnt son-in-law was admitted to Hajipur Sadar Hospital by other family members. PMCH has been referred from there. Though the son-in-law is still alive, he has suffered 75 per cent burns. Son-in-law’s name is Vikas Kumar. He is a resident of Karja police station area of Muzaffarpur. He had a love marriage just a year ago. The police is investigating the whole matter. So far no arrest has been reported.
Mason by profession is black to see development
In relation to the incident, it is said that Vikas Kumar, a resident of Basantpur under Karja police station area of Muzaffarpur, had a love marriage with Nidhi Kumari of Karneji village of Patedhi Belsar police station in Vaishali district only last year. Vikas, a mason by profession, is black in appearance, while Nidhi is fair and extremely beautiful. His mother-in-law did not like Vikas for the fair daughter. She was also angry with her daughter’s love marriage. There was always a murmur for this. In this sequence, late on Monday night, her mother-in-law tried to kill her by burning her.
Went to in-laws house on wife’s call
The victim Vikas told that he had gone to his in-laws house to meet his wife, but after a fight with his mother-in-law and father-in-law, he returned home. After that again on Monday during the day the wife called and called him. Something happened to him late at night. Mother-in-law sprinkled petrol and set fire to Vikas’s body. Hearing his cries, the local people gathered. People admitted him to Hajipur Sadar Hospital, from where PMCH has been referred.
Had a love marriage with Nidhi in 2022
Local people told the local media that Vikas had done a love marriage in 2022 with Nidhi, daughter of Ramchandra Ram, a resident of Karenji village. Mother-in-law Urmila Devi did not like this thing. The color of Vikas was black from above. Information has been received that Neha is pregnant. She is seven months pregnant. She was living in her maternal house. Vikas wanted to take her with him. Vikas had come earlier also to pick up his wife, but was returned after abusing her.
