The first name to make it to our list is Singapore’s Changi Airport which was constructed at a cost of $1.7 billion. The Airport Hub was built in 2014 and features the world’s tallest 40-metre indoor waterfall, an IMAX theatre, a butterfly garden and retail establishments.

Heathrow Airport located in London is one of the most expensive and popular airports in the world. Terminal 5 alone cost more than $6 billion, and further expansions have added to this total cost. This is the largest airport in America.
Hamad International Airport
Doha’s airport cost $15 billion and was number 1 in 2021 and 2022. The design of the airport is sleek and contemporary but at the same time it pays homage to Qatar’s rich cultural heritage. Haneda was the primary international airport serving Tokyo until 1978. This airport is very close to Tokyo and hence is more preferred by frequent travelers. The second airport, Narita International Airport, is further away and involves higher travel costs. Tokyo’s Haneda Airport has been ranked third among the top 10 airports in the world.

It is expected to become one of the most expensive airports, with the estimated cost for its full expansion exceeding $32 billion. The airport is located in Dubai and is considered one of the most beautiful airports in the world. It is located 37 kilometers south-west of Dubai.
