Child dies in school in Motihari
When the weather of Bihar changed and the cold started increasing, more than a dozen children in various schools of the state fell ill due to cold. His health deteriorated in school itself. Many of these children suddenly became unconscious and fell down. He was immediately taken to the hospital. Manish Kumar, a student of class 6 of Adarsh Government Middle School Chakia (Boys) located at Boudhi Mandir in Chakia Municipal Council area of Motihari, suddenly started trembling during prayer and fell on the ground. He was declared dead in the hospital.

A teacher at Government Primary School Chikni in Ramgarhwa, Motihari suddenly fell unconscious. When the villagers made arrangements for bonfire and oil massage, his health improved. Taseem Raza, son of Tabrez Alam, resident of Sulsabad village of the said student police station area, is 12 years old. Headmistress Manju Kumari told that after seeing the student unconscious, the teachers massaged the student with oil, warmed him by fire and sent him home after he recovered.
