Bihar Train Seat Availability: The process of migrants coming to Bihar is going to start for Diwali and Chhath Puja. Those returning home during the festival have booked tickets in trains long in advance. But like every time, this year too the number of people who could not get confirmed tickets is very high. On such occasions, seats often get filled within a few hours of booking starting. But on one hand, there is a long waiting time in most of the trains coming from Delhi to Bihar, on the other hand, there is a train in which more than 900 seats are seen vacant.

Many special trains have been announced to ensure that passengers do not face any problem in traveling to and from Bihar during Diwali and Chhath. In this series, it has been decided to run Gati Shakti Festival Superfast Special train between Patna and New Delhi. More than 500 seats were available in train number 02246 New Delhi-Patna Gati Shakti Festival Superfast Special till Saturday morning. It will depart from New Delhi at 23:45 on 10, 11, 14, 15, 16 and 17 November and reach Patna Junction at 15:50 the next day. At the same time, Patna-New Delhi Gati Shakti Festival Superfast Special Express will depart from Patna at 19:00 on 11, 12, 15, 16, 17 and 18 November and reach New Delhi at 10:30 the next day.

Long waiting in other trains

There is a long waiting time in the Festival Special going from Anand Vihar Terminal to Jaynagar via Pataliputra. There are regrets in sleeper and the waiting list in third AC has reached 88. The waiting list for Festival Special train number 05284 from Anand Vihar Terminal to Muzaffarpur via Patliputra is also increasing. The waiting list in Festival Special train number 04002 from Delhi to Patna is also beyond 100. Waiting time in regular trains has gone above 150. 377 waiting in Sampoorna Kranti has reached the level of regret in Vikramshila and Brahmaputra. The waiting list is increasing in Duronto and Tejas Rajdhani also. After November 21, the waiting time in trains going from Patna to Delhi is gradually increasing. There is 35 waiting in Anand Vihar Festival Special and there is waiting in regular trains also. Apart from these, there is huge waiting in the trains coming from Mumbai also. There is more than 100 waiting in train number 01043 going from Lokmanya Tilak to Samastipur.

Tickets available from Howrah to Patna

All the trains coming from West Bengal to Bihar are running full. But seats are definitely available in Howrah-Patna Vande Bharat Express on the same day. However, these seats are likely to appear vacant due to Diwali. Seats are vacant in train number 22347 Howrah-Patna Vande Bharat Express for 12th November.

Special train to come from Kota to Bihar

In order to clear the extra passenger rush during the festival of Diwali, special train is being run from Kota between train numbers 09817 and 09818 Kota-Danapur-Kota. This train will have a total of 22 LHB coaches including air conditioned three tier economy 10 coaches, air conditioned two tier 2 coaches, sleeper 6 coaches, general class 2 coaches, 1 SLR and 1 generator car. With the operation of this train, passengers going from Kota to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will get the benefit of advance reservation and relief from crowd. Whereas train number 09817 and 09818 special train between Kota-Danapur-Kota will run as a weekly train in both directions, with two trips each from Kota on 5th November and 8th November and from Danapur on 6th November and 9th November. Whereas train number 09817 departing from Kota to Danapur will depart from its originating station at 9.50 am and reach the destination at 8.45 am the next day and the return train number 09818 departing from Danapur for Kota will depart from its originating station at 11.45 am the next day morning. This train will reach Kota at 8.25 am. This train will run in both directions between Kota-Danapur-Kota via Baran, Ruthiyai, Guna, Ashoknagar, Malkhedi, Sagar, Damoh, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Shankargarh, Prayagraj, Chhivki, Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal. It will stop at Upadhyay, Buxar and Arrah stations.
