When some investors asked for information about the cooperation being done by the administration towards setting up industries, DM Aman Sameer and DDC Priyanka Rani said that there is abundant availability of water resources and raw materials in Saran district. Agriculture is done in most of the land here. At the same time, more than one thousand water sources are present in the district. Earlier cloth was also made here. At the same time, many factories used to operate here for jaggery. The country’s famous Morton chocolate was also made here. Later on it got closed. But such small industries can be made big by restarting them. The DM told that out of 55 lakhs in the district, 54 percent of the population is below 35 years. Many policies of the state government are working to encourage and connect these youths with employment. The District Magistrate said that investors can benefit from the industrial policy under which Bihar Textile and Leather Policy-2022, Bihar Start-up Policy 2022, Land Allotment Policy 2022, Bihar Agricultural Investment Promotion Policy-2020, Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Policy-2016. He said that the support of strong online single window system, transparent and active administration is available.
