More than 25 thousand devotees took bath in Ganga on Maghi Purnima

The state Maghi Purnima fair was inaugurated on the banks of Ganga at Rajmahal Uttarwahini in Sahibganj district of Santal Pargana by the state’s Drinking Water Sanitation Minister Mithilesh Thakur, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister Badal Patralekh, MP Vijay Hansda and MLA Anant Kumar Ojha by lighting the lamp. Before the inauguration, priest Dilip Pandey performed Ganga puja with Vedic chanting. In the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Commissioner Hemant Sati gave the welcome speech by giving bouquets and clothes to the guests.
