It is being told that after some time the court will take cognizance of the police charge sheet. The police has filed a charge sheet of more than 150 pages in the SC-ST court. About three months after the incident, the UP police has filed a charge sheet in this case.

Their names included in the charge sheet

The charge sheet also includes the names of Atiq Ahmed, Ashraf, Atiq’s son Asad, shooter Ghulam and Sadaqat Khan, who is lodged in Naini jail. Apart from this, a charge sheet has been filed against Sadaqat Khan who is lodged in Naini Jail. While Vijay Chowdhary, who was killed in the encounter, Arbaaz’s name is also included in the charge sheet. The names of arrested Niaz Ahmed, Rakesh Lala, Sajd are also included in the charge sheet. The names of Arshad Katra, Cash and Akhlaq are also included in the charge sheet. According to the media report, the police has gathered sufficient evidence of the involvement of all the nine accused in the jail in the murder case.
